Well. Another year has come, and I have decided this is going to be my last semester at Uni for a while. I don't think this is the right degree program for me, and I can teach myself a lot with the internet, books, and foundations I've acquired to this point. I made a new schedule for the new semester. It doesn't say what I am studying, but, I've got like four things I'm working through.
I went to LA for Massive Black Workshop in December and learned a ton. Especially on portfolio/recruitment day. Thanks to Phil Holland, Kemp Remillard, and the Riot Games Splash Art director.
This is what I need and what I'm going to do to fix it.

I just recently have been trying to increase my internet presence and that really has helped my initiative. Recently I have also just found Dave Rapoza's blog, and in the deeper areas I found a schedule he used to do art or get better. http://crimsondaggersforever.wordpress.com/2009/12/01/my-old-schedule/
I was so inspired by this, that I made my own.
A lot of these activities I have been doing already, but I wanted to take the time and really write them down so I can be more deliberate in how i use my time.
10,000 hours seems to be the minimum to become an outlier, and that's what it takes to make it so that's what I'm going to have to do

I don't write journals very often, but I figured I would update the virtual world.
Here at University, I've just finished some of my last foundations in the fine art program. In my traditional folder, I just recently uploaded pictures of my Painting 1 studio. I am registered at the moment for a Painting 2, Figure Drawing(Drawing 3 as progression goes) and professional practices/portfolio prep.
I really wanted to make the switch to Aspen accredited TAD program, but I'm afraid after talking with her it is not a financial option for me right now. She warned that they do not accept federal aid for the TAD program, and I would literally have ano
